一九六一年南美自由盃

一九六一年南美自由盃係第二屆南美自由盃，係南美洲最頂級个腳球會賽事，由南美洲腳球協會主辦。這屆賽事一共有九隊來競爭，當中單淨委內瑞拉無派隊出賽。

值得講啊， 上屆冠軍佩納羅爾係透過贏著國內聯賽冠軍來得著這屆參賽个機會，係這下唯一一隊毋得著自動參賽權个過冕球隊。毋過最尾佩納羅爾在決擊敗來自巴西个帕爾梅拉斯還係過打頭名，成為第一隊成功衛生組織个球隊。==參賽球隊==

第一圈

第一組

_ Olimpia drew 二–二 with Colo-Colo on point aggregate . Olimpia progressed to the semifinals due to better goal difference . _

第四組

_ Independiente Santa Fe drew 二– 二 with Jorge Wilstermann on point aggregate and goal difference . No playoff was disputedto determine the winner . Independiente Santa Fe progressed to the semifinals after a drawof lots . _

準決賽

Seven teams were drawn into two groups , one of our and the other of three . In each group , teams played against each other home-and-away . The top team in each group advanced to the Finals .
