一九六六年南美自由盃係第七屆南美自由盃，係南美洲最頂級个腳球會賽事，由南美洲腳球協會主辦。

第一圈

Sixteen teamswere drawn into two groups of six and one group of four . In each group , teams played against each other home-and-away . The top two teams in each group advanced to the Semifinals . 獨立隊，the title holders , had a bye to the next round .

Seven teams were drawn into two groups , one of four and the other of three . In each group , teams played against each other home-and-away . The top team in each group advanced to the Finals .
