一九六五年南美自由盃係第六屆南美自由盃，係南美洲最頂級个腳球會賽事，由南美洲腳球協會主辦。

Nine teams were drawn into three groups . In each group , teams played against each other home-and-away . The top team in each group advanced to the Semifinals . 獨立隊，the title holders , had a bye tothe next round .

Four teams were drawn into two groups . In each group , teams played against each other home-and-away . The top team in each group advanced to the Finals .
